Couscous ia a primary staple throughout Algeria and Morocco, traditionally served with meat or vegetable stew. Here, our chef tops it with SAFCOL® Chargrilled Salmon with Cajun Spice and pairs it with a cool, minty and healthy salad.
Ingredients:
-1/2 pack couscous
-1 cucumber
-1 handful mint
-1 tbsp crème fraĭche
- 1 can SAFCOL® Chargrilled Salmon in Cajun Spice
Instructions:
Peel and de-seed cucumber. Slice cucumbers and place them in a bowl, add crème fraĭche and mint, mix in well.
Cook couscous in a pan following instructions on packaging. Next, add SAFCOL® Gourmet Chargrilled Salmon in Cajun Spice to couscous and mix well but do not combine with the cucumber, fraĭche and mint mix. Add salt and pepper, if desired. Plate booth dishes side by side. You can use a mint leaf for garnish. |
