Make your own delicious tempura at home! Dip in sweet sauce made from scratch.
Ingredients:
- 1 pouch of SAFCOL® Gourmet on the go Lemon and Dill Salmon in Spring Water
- 1 cup sushi rice
- mashed potato (ready pack)
- tempura batter (ready pack)
- cucumber
- vegetable oil
- 1 sheet of dry seaweed
- shredded carrots
- sweet dipping sauce
Instructions:
Prepare mashed potato as instructed on packaging. Julienne cucumber and carrots. Spread sushi rice onto sushi mat. Place dry seaweed on top of rice. Spread SAFCOL® Gourmet on the go Lemon and Dill Salmon in Spring Water, mashed potato, cucumber, and carrots onto the seaweed. Press down gently and roll the mat from one end to the opposite end. Unroll sushi mat. Dip roll in tempura batter and deep fry in 350 degree vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes. Place finished tempura on a paper towel. Cut tempura into six pieces and serve. |
