This spicy tuna salad lets you prepare a Japanese-style salad that packs a kick.
Ingredients:
- 1 can SAFCOL® Gourmet on the Go Chunk Light Tuna with Spicy Chili (Chipotle)
-1/8 jícama
-2 oz sprouts
-2 oz chopped cilantro
-1/2 cup Japanese cucumber
- ¼ oz crushed peanuts to taste
- ½ fresh tomato
Instructions:
Prepare dressing by chopping shallot and garlic. Mix and stir canola oil, Ponzu soy sauce, ginger juice, shallot, and garlic in a small bowl. Prepare jicama and Japanese cucumber by cutting them into strips. Dice tomato. Crush peanuts using side of knife. Combine all ingredients in a salad bowl. Top salad with dressing and add SAFCOL® Gourmet on the Go Chunk Light Tuna with Spicy Chili (Chipotle). Toss salad and serve. |
