This dish is great for treating guests to a gourmet pasta dish at home. Sauteed garlic and fennel bring out the unique sweet and spicy flavor of SAFCOL’s Gourmet on the Go Light Tuna with Spicy Onion.
Ingredients:
- 1 pack SAFCOL Chunk Light Tuna with Spicy Onion
- 2 cups penne pasta (Cooked)
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes (Cut in ½)
- ¼ cup julienne fennel
- ¼ cup green beans
- 1 whole clove of garlic (thinly slice)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup chicken stock
- salt and pepper (optional)
Instructions:
Sauté Fennel and green beans with ½ the olive oil (1 tbsp) and chicken stock on medium heat until pasta is al dente.
Add garlic and sauté for 15-20 sec.
Add cherry tomatoes and sauté for 15-20 sec.
Stir the pasta, oil and SAFCOL Gourmet on the Go Chunk Light Tuna with Spicy Onion Tuna, add salt and pepper (if desired) and serve. |
