A. The main difference is the ingredients. SAFCOL® products do not contain artificial, chemically derived additives. They are made using natural ingredients or ingredients derived through natural processes. SAFCOL® tuna products do not contain vegetable broth or MSG while other tuna products usually do. A. SAFCOL® salmon is farm raised Atlantic Salmon from Chile, similar to what you would find at your favorite restaurant.

Q. Is SAFCOL® tuna dolphin-safe?

A. Yes. SAFCOL® tuna products are certified dolphin-safe by the Earth Island Institute.

Q. Do I need to refrigerate can and pouch products?

A. No. canned and pouched products are shelf stable, meaning they do not require refrigeration. They should be kept at room temperature.

Q. How long do can and pouch products last?

A. Canned products can last over four years when stored under room temperature. Pouched products last at least two when stored under room temperature.
